Situated on 27 acres of beachfront property, ResortQuest Waimea Plantation Cottages offers 56 restored and modernized sugar-plantation cottages. Recalling 1930s and 1940s design, cottages are outfitted with period mahogany and wicker-and-rattan furniture, wood floors, upholstered seating, and updated kitchens. Thoroughly modern bathrooms include pedestal sinks, deep soaking tubs, and separate, roomy shower stalls. VCRs and CD players are included, as is dial-up Internet access (surcharge; guests should request in advance to activate phone lines). Maid service is every third day. Cottages at this Hawaiian resort are cooled by ceiling fans.
Smoking is not permitted inside hotel rooms.
